What drives event photo and video pricing

Event shoot budget depends on venue size, hours and the deliverables you need. One package for every event is not cost-effective.

An event budget is not a fixed package
In Baku, event photo and video pricing moves with venue size, guest count and unrepeatable moments. A 40-person office gathering and a 400-person evening do not need the same crew. Write the need first, then pick the package.
Duration is the main lever
A two-hour reception and an eight-hour programme are different loads. Operator shifts, battery and card reserves grow with hours. When you hear “day rate”, ask start and end — overtime may be separate.
Camera and photographer count
One camera holds the stage; a second covers close-ups and the room. If stills need their own stream, you need two pros at once. Each person raises budget, but sometimes prevents a second shoot day.
Edit and delivery form
Raws, a short highlight, a full recap film and Reels are different workloads. Same-day edit is planned separately. When a quote says “video included”, clarify length and how many versions.
Venue and logistics
Outdoors, hotel ballrooms, stage light and a sound desk change crew size. Out-of-city travel and delay buffers matter too. Combining /foto-cekilis and video in one brief often cuts duplicate prep.
Cut unnecessary spend
You do not need a drone in every corner, motion graphics on every speech or two cameras every hour. List must-have moments: open, speech, award, guest area. Keep the rest as optional.
